You might be worried about finding and keeping a job – we’re here to help ease those worries.
Deaf and HoH people can and do have great jobs and careers, they just need the right support. That’s what we’re here for.
We’ll work with you from the start of your search, through job interviews and into employment providing the support you need.
CCS are a deaf-led company, so we understand the barriers to deaf and HoH people gaining and sustaining employment. And if you’re worried about how all of the support is paid for, we’ll help you with that too.
No need to worry or stress about finding a BSL interpreter for your interview, just give us the date, time and venue and leave the rest to us.
We will arrange for you to work with our deaf professional face to face remotely, this will include a good practice session for example completing a mock interview to make sure you’re prepared and full of confidence for the real thing!
Once you have successfully got the job, we will co-ordinate the application for your Access to Work government funded grant. We will also ensure you receive ongoing personalised in-work BSL communication support throughout your employment.
Your mental health matters too! You will have weekly catch ups with our deaf professional to discuss any issues you have, good or bad or even if you just want to let off steam, we will always be here to support you and your wellbeing.
You might be worrying about how to pay for the practical support you need at an interview and then how you’ll manage once in the workplace. We understand.
